First Blog.....

Hey everybody! I guess I will start by explaining why this new blog is important to me. I need an outlet. Instead of letting myself getting wound up into a big ball I want to start writing things out again, so things that you can find here; funny things, frustrating things, exciting things in my life.
I'm excited where my life is going right now. 2010 was not a fun year, I started to not like my (new) job anymore and my dad passed away. I decided that 2011 was going to be my year. Don and I are getting married, I got a promotion at work in March to a new department, I started trying to better myself in April with working out and eating better. So far so good right? Well, there's been a few ups and downs but I'm still going. The eating better thing is uhhh... challenging to say the least, I really like bad food, but I have kept up the working out. The wedding planning is moving forward whether I really want to do it or not, but hey, I guess it's my new hobby for the moment. Who doesn't like being in control of things, right?! The job is still new and different, but I'm learning and I get to work from home 2 days a week and my bosses are spectacular. I guess when you write it all out it looks pretty good on paper or should I say a computer screen, which makes me feel good. I'm still dealing with the passing of my dad but I'm sure that will be an ongoing process for years to come. But I am proud of how strong my mom and I have turned out to be. We're doing alright, considering. Oh yeah.... I forgot another great thing about 2011..... THE MAVS WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP. Until next time, Jackson out.
